Climate in NepalThe climate in Nepal is generally pleasant. The summer coincides with the monsoon and extends from June to October. The other months of the year are dry. Spring and autumn are the most pleasant seasons. Winter is cold with a lot of frost and snow in the mountains.
The Kathmandu valley can be visited throughout the year yet it is less recommend to go during the monsoon season from June to mid / late September. The best time to visit the Kathmandu valley is after the monsoon season in the fall.
